I've always liked mayonnaise dishes, I remember that when my mother made something with mayonnaise, I always told her to do more, we actually liked to spread it on bread. We were children and of course it wasn't a health problem, but even today I can't say that I gave up this habit. I really can't say that I eat very often, but I enjoy it with the same pleasure as as a child.
The other day I found a green bean in the store, I quickly got my hands on a casserole and when I got home I got to work. I missed the green beans with yogurt and mayonnaise that a neighbor from our block, Aunt Florica, who had a garden a few kilometers from the city, who is a perfect housewife and I don't remember being I cooked something I didn't like. Everything he cooked was so good you wanted another portion. Today, seeing the bean pods, I remembered the times when I went to the garden with her and returned home full of vegetables from her garden.
It goes great as a quick snack, the preparation time is short and requires only a few ingredients, and the result is truly spectacular. It can be made only with mayonnaise or only with yogurt, so it is versatile enough to be eaten by those who avoid mayonnaise.

How to make Green beans with yogurt and mayonnaise
- 500 g broad green beans but the round one works very well
- 1 or
- 200 ml oil
- 100 g Greek yogurt with 10% fat
- 1-2 cloves of garlic, depending on taste
- 1 bunch of dill
- Salt and pepper to taste.
Method of preparation:
We choose the beans and break their heads. We wash it under running cold water. We cut the pods at 3-4 cm and set it aside.
Put a large pot of water and salt to boil in which we add the bean pods and let them boil for 4-5 minutes, until they are crispy.
Strain through a sieve and place them on a kitchen towel to remove excess water and allow to cool completely.
We make mayonnaise from egg yolk, a little salt and oil. Add the garlic and with a blender mix well until it crushes.
Put the yogurt and mix until smooth and get a creamy sauce.
After the pods have cooled completely, add the yogurt sauce with mayonnaise, chopped dill, pepper and mix gently.
